Affiliated to Miss India Worldwide, the winner of Miss India Australia will be the official entry to the glittering 15th Miss India Worldwide event in Mumbai in December 2005.

Vimala Raman, Miss India Australia 2004 has already launched her celluloid career as the first and only Indian Australian to feature as a lead actress in K. Balachander’s current Tamil film “Poi” and attributes her success to a very great extent, to the pageant.
“Miss India Australia has given me a platform on which to market myself.It gave me sense of confidence and self respect and as a winner of the MIA 2004 title it boosted the values I possessed that could be exhibited” says Vimala.
